Two residential homes, built for two very different lives.

Continuum of care

One team from the first day to long after the last.

Residential treatment should never be a dead end. Our levels of care are certified with the State of Nevada and step down deliberately, so no one leaves without a next step.

Outpatient continuity provided by Sai Mental Health, our sister practice for therapy, psychiatry, IOP, and TMS.

  1. ASAM 3.2-WM

    Adults

    Withdrawal Management

Clinically managed residential withdrawal support with nursing oversight, so the first days of recovery are safe, monitored, and as comfortable as possible.

  2. ASAM 3.5

    Adolescents and adults

    Residential Treatment

High-intensity, 24-hour residential care in a home-like setting. The core of what we do: structure, therapy, psychiatry, and community, every day.

  3. ASAM 2.5

    Adults

    Partial Hospitalization

A full clinical day without the overnight stay. A bridge for residents stepping down, and for adults who need more than weekly outpatient care.

  4. Step-down

    All ages

    Outpatient Continuity

Intensive outpatient, therapy, psychiatry, and TMS continue through our sister practice, Sai Mental Health, so care never stops at discharge.

What we treat

Addiction and mental health, treated together.

Most people who arrive here carry both. Treating one and ignoring the other is why so many stays fail. Our clinicians, nurses, and psychiatrists work from one integrated plan.

Substance use

  • Alcohol use disorder
  • Opioid and fentanyl use
  • Methamphetamine and stimulants
  • Cocaine
  • Cannabis
  • Kratom and emerging substances
  • Behavioral addictions

Co-occurring mental health

  • Depression and mood disorders
  • Anxiety and panic
  • PTSD and complex trauma
  • Bipolar disorder
  • OCD
  • Borderline personality disorder
  • ADHD and co-occurring conditions

Our approach

Evidence-based care, delivered like a home, not a facility.

Every clinician on our team is trained in the same evidence-based models. What makes the difference is the setting: a real house, real meals, and a routine that people can carry home.

01

Small by design

Eight adult beds and a single adolescent home. Every resident is known by name, by every staff member, every shift.

02

Psychiatry inside the house

Medication decisions are made by a psychiatrist who has met the resident, not faxed in from across town.

03

Families in the room

Family therapy, scheduled updates, and a discharge plan the whole household understands.

  • DBTDialectical Behavior Therapy
  • CBTCognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • MIMotivational Interviewing

Dharmendra Goyal, MD

Medical Director · Board-Certified Psychiatrist

Physician-led

“The people who come to us have usually been told what they are. Our job is to show them what they can still become, in a house where someone is awake and paying attention at three in the morning.”

Dr. Goyal is a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry and nearly two decades of practice in Northern Nevada. He founded Sai Mental Health as an outpatient practice and built the residential homes to close the gap he saw every week: patients who needed more than an hour of care, and had nowhere local to get it.

Questions

What families ask us first.

How is Sai Treatment Centers different from Sai Mental Health?

Sai Treatment Centers is the residential side of the Sai family of care. It operates our 24-hour residential homes for adolescents and adults. Sai Mental Health is our outpatient practice, offering therapy, psychiatry, intensive outpatient programs, and TMS. They are separate operations that share one clinical philosophy, so a resident can step down to outpatient care without starting over.

How long is a typical stay?

Length of stay is clinical, not fixed. Most residents stay 30 to 90 days depending on their needs, progress, and insurance authorization. We review the plan with you and your family throughout treatment.

Can families visit and participate?

Yes. Family involvement is part of treatment, not an exception to it. We schedule family therapy sessions, provide regular updates, and coordinate visits in a way that supports recovery.

Do you accept Medicaid?

We are in network with Nevada Medicaid managed plans including SilverSummit, CareSource, and Anthem Medicaid, as well as most major commercial insurers. Call us and we will verify your specific plan.

Is detox available on site?

Our adult program is certified for clinically managed residential withdrawal management (ASAM 3.2-WM). Individuals who need hospital-level medical detox are stabilized first and then admitted.

What happens after discharge?

Every resident leaves with a written aftercare plan. That usually includes partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient care, ongoing therapy and psychiatry through Sai Mental Health, and connection to community recovery supports in Northern Nevada.
